2007 Show Review
PASSENGER TERMINAL EXPO 2007 - THE BEST INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT EVENT

The Passenger Terminal Expo 2007 conference held in Barcelona from the 27-29 March was heralded by participants as 'the best international airport event' and 'the conference of the year'.
Opening the conference on the 27th March was Javier Marìn, Director of Spanish Airports, AENA. With some 130 international speakers and almost 800 registered delegates, the conference reached new heights in interaction.
New topics and debates were introduced at each step of each conference, every day, creating a highly charged atmosphere.
Thomas Coleman, Infrastructure Protection Systems, US Dept. of Homeland Security, said: "Congratulations on a brilliant conference, more than worthwhile crossing the Atlantic for."
Steve Cornell, Director, Airport Master Plan Program, San Diego International Airport, echoed Thomas' remarks with: "As a busy airport owner, I look for conferences that offer the ability to rapidly obtain information from a wide range of worldwide sources. The Passenger Terminal Expo represents the best international conference that brings a global perspective to the challenges we face in our global business environment."
Janine Samler, Conference Director, said:"The conference has been a phenomenal success. I am proud to be associated with the chairmen and speakers, who have brought the industry such a wide array of insightful, current and inspiring topics. Our finger is never off the button when it comes to bringing attendees the very latest information on new projects; as much as we follow the development of projects that have been presented previously, I believe that it's a winning formula for all concerned… and one we will continue to build on."
Passenger Terminal Expo is now firmly recognised as the leading
international meeting point for senior aviation executives. With in
excess of 3,000 attendees and over 200 airport authorities in Barcelona
this year, the event has been hailed as "the best in the business".
Andrzej Smith, Exhibition Sales Director, said: "Passenger Terminal
Expo 2008 is set to land in Amsterdam, a world-renowned venue and key
hub with connections to every corner of the globe. With over 75% of the
Barcelona exhibitors having already rebooked for next year, the
exhibition is set to be by far the biggest and best ever held."
