After the phenomenal success of the first ever live World Airport Awards™ ceremony held at Passenger Terminal EXPO 2010 in Brussels, Skytrax have announced that the 2011 World Airport Awards™ will again be hosted live at Passenger Terminal EXPO 2011.

"The collaboration with Passenger Terminal EXPO enables Skytrax to host the World Airport Awards at a venue that offers very clear synergies between the two events," said Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax. "It provides the platform to publicly honour the winning airports, whilst at the same time delivering an awards ceremony that is not influenced by any third party – this concept is of paramount importance to us."

The World Airport Awards are the most prestigious and coveted awards to recognise product and service quality across the world’s airport industry.

The live World Airport Awards™ ceremony will once again be a relaxed and informal setting bringing together key airport industry personnel from around the world, allowing time to network and enjoy a chat with friends and colleagues. The exhibition hall party creates the perfect setting and atmosphere for these much anticipated awards, and attendees can enjoy the drinks and canapés on offer to everyone.

The World Airport Survey measures more than 35 elements of the airport experience, determining how well each airport performs against their customers expectations.
