At Passenger Terminal EXPO 2023, Ink Innovation will showcase the latest upgrades of its mobile passenger services app – Mobile Agent.
Ink Mobile enables agents to conveniently check in passengers, print tags, scan barcodes and IDs, and undertake all the other functions expected from a desk-based airport system both inside and outside the airport.
In 2022, Ink launched pilot programs with different airlines to show them how easily its technology integrates with their existing systems. The pilot projects displayed Ink technology’s agility in handling the surge in demand for travel since the Covid-19 pandemic and its ability to improve service quality by providing extra processing capacity at the point of need.
At its booth, Ink will reveal the results of the airport passenger experience trial conducted by TUI airline, which partnered with Ink to reduce queue wait times and unlock capacity across its network at four airports. To meet TUI’s deadline to get its customer service agents up and running within four weeks, Ink was challenged to integrate with the airline’s PSS and DCS provider Navitaire, shipping mobile devices to four airports, training staff and launching into production within that time.
