Candace McGraw, CEO, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), USA discusses her presentation titled: Creating the future of your airport which looked at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), once a US fortress hub for Delta Airlines, and which has experienced a severe decline in passenger traffic as a result of airline mergers and the economic downturn, and how these changed conditions present an opportunity for the airport to reinvent itself into the premier regional airport for the community.

Curtis Grad, President & CEO, Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, Canada discusses his presentation titled: Ship to shore – connecting ports and airports which looked at emerging technology, creative operational solutions and strategic infrastructure investments which are creating more seamless and efficient inter-modal connections between air and marine transportation modes.

Simon Robertson, Chief Financial Officer, Auckland International Airport, New Zealand discusses his presentation titled: Auckland Airport: understanding the future in order to lead ambitious NZ tourism and trade growth which looked at understanding smart technologies, new customer expectations, ever-changing industry and market dynamics and demographic changes to shape its planning, capture more than its share of travel growth and expand its contribution to the nation.

Sidharath Kapur, President and CFO (Airports), GMR Group, India discusses his role in the Airport Leader's Forum which brought together the leaders of major airports across Asia to exchange ideas and thoughts on common issues and challenges facing them across their operating assets.

Robert Deillon, CEO, Genève Aéroport, Switzerland discusses his presentation titled: Master planning in a limited environment which looked at the single-runway and single-terminal system that is Geneva Airport which is surrounded by major infrastructure (exhibition, railways, highways) and the border with France but has beenable to manage almost 14 million pax a year, with an average growth rate of over 5% for the past five years, and has recently accommodated numerous new airlines and new routes (including long-haul).

José Manuel Fernández Bosch, Director of Commercial Services and Property Management, Aena Aeropuertos, Spain talks about hi presentation titled Madrid-Barajas Airport – a shift to new commercial opportunities which looked at how Aena Aeropuertos is carrying out huge civil works to improve its commercial proposition at its main hub airport, Madrid-Barajas, and some other majors airports.

Peter Moore, Head of Terminal Development, Dubai Airports, United Arab Emirates talks about his presentation titled: Dubai Airports' new dedicated A380 passenger concourse which looked at Dubai Airports' newly completed Concourse A, the world's first passenger facility fully dedicated to accommodating the fast-growing fleet of Emirates Airline A380 aircraft.

Dr Waleed Youssef, GCC Region Director, TAV Airports Holding, Turkey discusses his role in the Airport Leader's Forum which brought together the leaders of major airports across Asia to exchange ideas and thoughts on common issues and challenges facing them across their operating assets.

Kerstin Bitterer, Senior Manager Innovation Management and Knowledge Management, Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide, Germany talks about her presentation titled: Personalised assistance system and services for mobility for the elderly which looked at how an increasingly ageing population require new services and facilities to meet their needs and at how this demographic trend is a balancing act for airports that requires a differentiated strategic approach for the future.

Sergi Alegre Calero, Vice Mayor El Prat de Llobregat, Municipality of El Prat de Llobregat, Spain talks about his presentation titled: Getting Dair: decarbonising airport regions which looked at how local governments together with airport operators are working on converting airports into sustainable transport hubs, helping reduce CO2 emissions.

Giovanni Russo, Head Planning & Engineering, Zurich Airport, Switzerland comments on his presentation titled Excellence through multiple stakeholder management which looked at crucial Stakeholder involvement in order to reach operational excellence in daily operation and consistent and reliable plans for the future as demonstrated at Zurich Airport which has instituted systematic stakeholder management.

Amy Weaver, Airport Affairs, Southwest Airlines Co, USA discusses her presentation titled Impacts of the ageing population at US airports which looked at the ageing population in the US and what impact it will have on how we travel in the future, from more wheelchairs to more time getting on and off the plane.

Antoine Rostworowski, Director, Industry Relations, Aéroports de Montréal, Canada discusses his presentation titled: Is self-service better service? Is more better? which looked at key drivers that influence our airports today, and looked at the future and how self-service will fit into the future.

Anders Nielsen, VP Project & Development, Billund Airport, Denmark discusses his presentation titled: Self-service including home-printed bag tags which looked at the introduction of home-printed bag tags in September 2012 at Billund Airport for charter passengers and the improvements for the check-in process at the airport coupled with a very positive passenger response.

Edward Baklor, VP Guest Services, WestJet Airlines, Canada talks about his visit to Passenger Terminal Conference and Expo 2013 and comments on his learnings at the event.

Jim Parashos, Director Airport Services, Australia comments on his visit he Passenger Terminal Conference and Expo and discusses his learnings particularly in the area of Terminal Expansion as Darwin heads towards a AUS$60M terminal upgrade.

Maarten de Groof, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the Netherlands talk about winning the awards for Best Airport in Europe and Best Airport in Western Europe at the Skytrax World Airports Awards and in particular the satisfaction of receiving the awards as a result of the voting by the passengers.

Claudia Ramsden, Group Manager Customer Care, Airports Company South Africa, South Africa comments on winning four awards at the Skytrax World Airport Awards and in particular the awards for Best Staff Member for the African Region and also comments on her visit to the Conference and Expo and in particular the theme of fast travel.
