Analogic will present the ConneCT checkpoint system at Passenger Terminal EXPO 2023.

The airport security solution is designed to deliver shorter wait times, improved passenger experience and lower total cost of ownership. Certified by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) and the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), ConneCT uses an open-architecture networking platform, breakthrough energy-efficient mechanical design and computed tomography (CT) threat detection technology that optimizes passenger throughput at airport checkpoints and improves security operations efficiency.

ConneCT improves passenger throughput by enabling travelers to keep approved liquids and electronics in their carry-on bags. It also supports remote security screening and system multiplexing, giving airports flexibility in how they use staff and real estate. The system integrates with automated tray-return systems and features a ‘no slew bearing’ mechanical design that improves the cost of ownership and system uptime. The TSA is deploying ConneCT at US airports as part of its new checkpoint property screening systems (CPSS) program.
