Sustainable, scalable and modular security lanes
Bavel Consulting

Bavel Consulting will unveil its latest iteration of its Tray and Trolley System (TTRS) at Passenger Terminal Expo 2024. TTRS is designed to elevate passenger throughput and enhance the security checkpoint experience, all while being a cost-effective alternative to fully automated lanes.

One of TTRS's defining characteristics is its ability to match the throughput of automated tray return systems (ATRS) while being a manual system. With TTRS, users can achieve impressive throughput, screening 220-240 passengers per lane hour, ensuring an efficient security screening process for travelers. Moreover TTRS operates exclusively on gravity, eliminating the need for electricity. This contributes to improved sustainability and provides substantial cost savings for airport operations.

What truly distinguishes TTRS is its innovative approach to tray handling. It seamlessly integrates the transfer trolleys with the loading tables, enabling trays to be efficiently returned to the divest area. These transfer trolleys are designed with a high capacity, reducing the frequency of replenishment journeys and consequently the overall number of security lanes and staff required.
