Steffen Günther-Schmitz began his career nearly 30 years ago as an apron controller at Frankfurt Airport (FRA). From direct operations, he assumed responsibility for the implementation of the first A-SMGCS at FRA and later for the procedural implementation of A-CDM. Steffen's passion for innovation and finding new ways to make FRA airside operations even better has led him to new technologies like data-driven decision making, machine learning, computer vision, digital twins, etc.
